Madrid, Spain • I joined KPMG to make the jump from pure mobile work into Data & AI, and I've been splitting my time between both worlds ever since. On the mobile side, I lead the development of several apps that I own the architecture, the releases, and pretty much everything that happens in production. On the AI side, I built a document classification system that takes the manual work out of categorizing documents, and I trained a clustering model on document embeddings to power an autonomous document system. I also created ETL pipelines for financial clients, mostly making sure the data flows cleanly from end to end.
Madrid, Spain • I was entrusted to lead an international team across multiple EU countries and we were building a Flutter app for car dealerships that used computer vision to detect damage on vehicles and help with valuations. I handled the architecture and the ML image pipeline, and I was involved in the full lifecycle: talking with the client, shaping requirements, shipping features, and keeping the thing running once it was live.
Madrid, Spain • Two and a half years building cross-platform apps for a pretty mixed bag of clients: retail businesses, early-stage startups, solo entrepreneurs. The pitch to clients was always the same — one codebase for iOS, Android, and web — and most of the time it actually delivered on that promise. I worked in small agile teams, handled client calls directly, and got comfortable shipping projects end to end without much hand-holding.
Seville, Spain • My first real job out of school. I built a Flutter app for monitoring olive oil production in real time — dashboards, temperature readings, quality metrics, that kind of thing. I also wrote the Node.js backend that fed the app. Small team, lots of learning, and a surprising amount of time spent understanding how olive mills actually work.
Designing and building a full SaaS product solo, end to end. Flutter web/mobile app, Next.js web frontend, NestJS backend, running on a self-managed Kubernetes cluster with horizontal pod autoscaling, rolling deployments, and infrastructure-as-code. Multi-tenant architecture with isolated environments per customer, automated CI/CD pipelines, centralized logging, and monitoring/alerting.
